Web Design Trends For 2017

Web design trends 2017

The year 2016 saw a lot of new things in terms of design related to the web and with the whole year ahead of us, let us share with you some of the web design trends that we think will be big this year.

Every website has a story to tell and an effective website is one which is able to do that effectively with its visual design. While stories have always been considered as one of the best ways to direct information amongst people, it is also a way to share information, knowledge as well as express emotions.

This year, we believe that designers will focus mostly towards designing their website in such a manner that it blends the design elements and the textual content to effectively reach out to the visitors and regale them of the story of the website visually.

A lot of focus will be on designing websites that are responsive to the different platforms, screen size and the location which the user will be visiting the site from. This year, websites with age-responsive-designs will be all the rage which will allow the content to be adapted to the users age and proficiency.

With Microsoft being the pioneer of implementing this type of design, a lot of websites have followed the trend and implemented this type of design for their website. A semi-flat design is a minimalistic approach to design which focuses on usability by ensuring that the layout is clean and crisp with negative spacing and bright colors. Since this type of design has received a positive feedback from visitors, we believe that this trend will continue into the new year.

With VR finally going mainstream in 2016, we can expect to see it implemented in browsers as well. Web designers are experimenting with the use of virtual reality to improve the overall user experience and create engagement
